Valérie Jardin will present WE ARE MINNESOTA, her ongoing black-and-white series featuring portraits of immigrants alongside Native Americans. The project explores the deep roots and evolving stories that shape Minnesota’s cultural identity and define life in the North Star State. Valérie will share the inspiration behind the project and tips on how to begin a personal photo series: shaping a vision, finding a theme, and using storytelling to create meaningful, authentic work.
