In this Episode…

Valérie and guest co-host Debby Cole answer listener questions:

@steph_made_it: How do you stay motivated to go out and shoot with everything going on right now? How often do you go out and shoot recently?

@jsollows: How are you managing street photography in our socially distant world?

@muratoi: How are street photographers adapting under lockdown? Are you still shooting in City locations or are you finding alternatives in sub-urban or urban settings?

Guest Co-Host: Debby Cole

Deborah is a photographer, speaker and writer. With graduate degrees from Texas A&M University and Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, she has over 35 years of success as an organizational leader, author and inspirational speaker.

Whether growing her business to the top 25 list in the US in her industry, serving on boards or using her photography, writing and speaking to inspire and educate, Deborah is on a mission to tell the story of the beauty of the essential self. She has shown work in galleries in Austin (Cloud Tree, Seton Cove, Old Bakery) and Houston (Texas Photographic Society) and was recently named Photographer of the Year by the North Austin Photographic Society. She currently writes and provides images for Street Photography Magazine and Neighbors Magazine.

Her most recent book, Letting Go, was launched in 2020 and describes the road from corporate leader to writer/photographer. She is currently working on a second book of photography and stories highlighting women who have launched second careers and businesses.
